Irnham - Theft from vehicles

Between late evening on Friday 28th and the early hours of Saturday 29th, 3 vehicles parked near the Griffin Inn at Irnham were broken in to. A Peugeot and Renault were searched through and a third car a VW Polo had items taken including a Laptop.
If anyone recalls any suspicious activity in the area please call 101 giving incident number 94-29/09/2018.
Some property taken from the Polo was discovered on Westby Road, near Bitchfield suggesting that the offender(s) left in that direction.

In recent months there have been more reports of thefts and suspicious circumstances than is usual in the area, please report any suspicious activity or vehicles using the 101 number. Ensure that homes and outbuildings are kept locked and that when vehicles are parked remove any items that may attract the attention of the opportunist criminal.
