Theft from garage - Colsterworth

Alert message sent 02/10/2018 14:01:00

Information sent on behalf of Lincolnshire Police

Late in the evening of Friday 28th or early hours of Saturday a garage was entered on Stamford Road, Colsterworth, items taken include a gold / silver coloured mountain bike and De Walt power tools with several batteries.

Given to location towards the ede of the village it is unlikely that anything evidential has been seen, however if you do recall any suspicious activity please call 101 quoting incident 158-29/09/2018.

The majority of thefts occur when an opportunist criminal sees something that attracts attention. This can be at the time such as an open window seen from the road, or historic where something is noticed for future reference, like a garage door left open and the mower and power tools seen inside. Always think about who may be passing by or calling at the door, sometimes they see more than you would like them to.
