Message from Lincolnshire Police HQ, Engagement Team, Thursday, 18 October 2018.
Theft of sheep - Leasingham

Three sheep have been stolen from a field on Westfield Road, Leasingham overnight between Thursday 11 and Friday 12 October.

We are appealing for any information that will help us find the sheep. One is a pet called George who the owners miss terribly, another one is a ram called Toby and the third, unnamed, were stolen from a field which was secured by an electric fence.  All of the sheep were tagged and without the paperwork the movement of the animals should cause suspicion.

The flock number for George is UK22039 and for Toby, who is a Kerry Hill pedigree, is UK 150054-0010.  It may be the tags will have been removed.

We would like to hear from you if you have any information that could assist the enquiry. There are a number of ways you can report:

  • By clicking on the email link please remember to put the reference 297 of 12 October in the subject box.
  • Via our non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 297 of 12 October
  • Through the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at
