On the 16th February a resident has been called by a male purporting to be a Met Police Sargent. The male stated that there had been fraudulent activity on the resident’s account. The male encouraged the resident to withdraw cash from the bank, make a note of some of the serial numbers on the bank notes, and a courier would attend to collect the cash.

A male described as Asian, early 20’s, 5ft 5”, dark short curly hair, pale complexion, wearing a grey hooded top, grey smart jeans and chunky black shoes, called at the resident’s address. The male wanted to collect the cash but the resident was suspicious and refused to hand over the money.
