Dear Member,

I’d like to share these 2 images with you, along with the story behind them.

Yesterday I was privileged to experience a different take and location of one of my favourite roles: - ‘engaging with the community’.

As part of my roll, I pop in to The Pop in Club at Folkingham Village Hall on a Monday morning (duties allowing) where I always receive a warm welcome, where I chat with the attendees over a much needed cuppa. This can be on numerous topics but my main focus is to provide safeguarding, personal and home security advice, keeping them up to date with the recent scams and things to be aware of. I’m open to talk about anything that is relevant in their lives which are causing them to worry unnecessarily, offering reassurance & guidance along the way.

This brings me to the attached images and explains that I was humbled to have been invited by The Pop in Club to join them in celebrating much valued member, Janet’s 70th Birthday.

As you can see in the 2 images we all had a marvel
Such engagements I find are the most rewarding, with this being just a small example of Neighbourhood Policing at its best.

Everyone is welcome at The Pop in Club which is open every Monday including Bank Holidays at Folkingham village hall from 10am till noon.  For a few pennies you can also choose to stay for a lunch of homemade soup and cake which is served at noon.

Thanks to you all at Folkingham Pop in Club.

Regards Sandra
