Good afternoon

This is PSV Chris Ivett at Horncastle Neighbourhood Police.

There have been a number of reported incidents in rural areas around Horncastle recently which we would like to make you aware of and ask for information. We would also ask you to be extra vigilant and ensure that premises are securely locked at all times.

Incident Number 51 of the 8th October. A burglary took place at premises in Tupholme, when a gate and window were smashed to gain access and a large quantity of diesel was stolen overnight.

Incident Number 168 of the 7th October. Suspicious activity was reported at Poolham, which may indicate harecoursing had taken place recently.

Incident Number 148 of the 7th October. A workshop at Minting was broken into by smashing a door but nothing was taken.

Incident Number 86 of the 7th October. A shed was broken into overnight and power equipment was stolen.

If anyone has seen any suspicious behaviour relating to any of these offences, please contact PCSO 2188 Nigel Wass, Tel 101 Ext 4627, Mobile 07973 846956 or ring Crime Stoppers 0800 555 111.
