Good morning

We received report of a burglary in progress to a business premises located in the Bull Ring in Horncastle in the early hours of Tuesday 31st March.

Officers were quickly on scene, the offenders having already fled. With some excellent work carried out by the officers, two persons were quickly arrested, one having fled from officers and being traced a short time later with the assistance of a police dog.

Enquiries are ongoing. We have spoken with two witnesses but if anyone else saw or heard anything in the area of the Bull Ring at around 00.45hrs, please contact 101 and quote incident 7 of the 31st March. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
